UFS Student Engagement Plan

Alekya Srinivasan, a senior at Penn State University, worked with the EPIC Team for the William M. Lapenta internship this past summer. Her final project was to develop a UFS Student Engagement Plan. Work to complete the plan included technical evaluations of UFS application tutorials and outreach to gauge interest in the UFS from various atmospheric science and computer science programs. The UFS Student Engagement Plan incorporates Alekya’s undergraduate student perspective on programming in the field of meteorology and highlights ways to enhance engagement with students moving forward.
